To transfer Music Manager Software (Windows version) from one computer to another you should complete the following steps:

  1. Open the program as you normally would.
  2. From main screen (Master Music Manager), click on the conductor logo to the left of the title block. This hidden button will reveal a complete set of menus at the top of your screen.
  3. From the Setup menu, choose Registration.
  4. Select “Deactivate”.
  5. After you have completed this, copy the c:\musicmgr folder to a usb flash drive or network storage device (Do not copy to a cd. This “locks” the files.)
  6. On the new computer, insert your Music Manager Software 5.0 CD installation disk and perform a clean install. First install Panorama Direct (step one), register with your serial number when prompted, then exit the program.
  7. With the CD still in the computer go to step two and install Music Manager files. When you have restarted your computer as instructed, open c:\musicmgr and either delete the newly installed folder, or rename it “musicmgrbu” and save as a backup file.
  8. Insert the usb flash drive, or wherever you saved the original folder and copy the musicmgr folder to the c:\drive.
  9. All of your shortcuts should work as before, assuming you have not changed any file names.
  10. Be sure that all of your data has transferred before erasing or deleting the original musicmgr folder contents.
