Portfolio

Music Manager’s sister company Marathon Media International Ltd. holds the Group’s owned portfolio of music copyright assets. Since 2017, the collective catalogue has generated more than 350 million streams from various platforms worldwide.

Marathon Media International Ltd. was acquired with an existing portfolio of 150,000+ music recording rights in 2014. The company was formed in 1991 by Paul Savory to fill a gap in the market for reliable repertoire for record labels specialising in low price product.

MMI has produced albums with leading names including Candi Staton, Jimmy Ruffin, Bucks Fizz, The Three Degrees, Odyssey, Dollar, The Gibson Brothers, Marmalade and many more. In addition, in 2013 the company acquired the pioneering UK hip hop / dance label Music of Life – home to many UK / US Top. 40 hits including Simon Harris’s “Bass (How Low Can You Go?)”, Derek B’s “Bad Young Brother” and “Supermarioland” by Ambassadors of Funk.

By retaining the recording/master rights, MMI created an extensive catalogue with long track-record of commercial stability and recurring revenue.

Since acquiring Marathon Media International Ltd. in 2014, the Music Manager Group has been conservatively expanding its portfolio - either via production to meet commercial needs in the market, or by acquiring assets/catalogues with extensive track records that fit the Group’s ethos of long-term commercial viability & stability.
